How much Armorall does it take to detail a 12.5-foot-tall tire? Or six of them?

I would guess all of it. All of the armorall. That is the largest shiny tire I have ever seen.

They probably have a vat of shine that they dip it in because otherwise that could take someone a whole day to do.

My grandpa had a material pit in Nevada with huge trucks like that, also some Volvos. I don’t think the big ones were that brand, I know they had to take them apart to transport them.

Looked at the back end of that thing and thought “That’s not normal.” Gaggled it and sure enough, it’s diesel /electric. https://www.liebherr.com/en/usa/products/mining-equipment/mining-trucks/details/t284.html . Looked at the wiki article for thei r T282 (since we’ll be there soon :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liebherr_T_282_series and it talks about the electric braking system. Huge resister bank(!) not regenerative. Interesting rabbit hole for a quiet Sunday afternoon. Th anks, Rusty.

Welks. If my life went to Hell in a hand basket and I needed to run away and do something else, I’d either want to drive one of those big mining trucks or be a freight train engineer.

12.5-foot diameter tires? Still less than the diameter of a Corsair propeller (13'4" for the three-bladed prop; 14' for the four-bladed Super Corsair propeller).

Badass aeroplane.
When that exterminator recommended using Fritos to catch that rat, did he say what to glue the Frito onto the trap with?

He didn’t say. I just set them carefully on the trigger. Got rats?
